Hi. My name is Linda and I am 55 years old.

I came to Dr. Eric's place because I have plantar fasciitis with a heel spur in my left foot, along with arthritis in both of my feet, my knees and my left hip. It made walking extremely painful and I was limping quite badly. I was taking painkillers and anti-inflammatories everyday just to get by. I dreaded getting out of bed in the morning, and commuting to work on the Sky Train was just agonizing.

Over a period of a couple of months, Dr. Eric's healings hands have straightened out my spine and legs, broken adhesions in my back and the backs of my knees, stretched the tendons in my feet, etc. His few suggestions for some minor adjustments in my personal life have resulted in a significant change in the way I walk.

I used to come here twice a week, now I come once every two weeks. Everyone notices that I barely limp anymore. I walk taller, straighter and, without the extreme pain. I am a lot happier. I may not be able to walk around the Stanley Park Sea Wall, nor run a marathon, but I am getting there.

I have always had a really bad back and was never really sure how or why except for the fact that I studied a lot when I was in school and I served for a few years. So I felt as though that might have affected the alignment in my back. I was always very scared of chiropractors in that they always cracked my neck since that was where the majority of my stress and pressure was held.

I went to Dr. Eric and after the first treatment I felt tremendous relief. I was not exactly sure what Dr. Eric was doing as I had never experienced such a treatment before. To be honest, I thought he was doing some sort of voodoo on me or something with all of his swooshes and touches but it actually worked. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and my back was immediately relieved.

I would recommend Dr. Eric's treatment to anyone that is open minded and is interested in trying something new. He does a few cracks here and there, but only when your body is ready to receive it. His treatment is calming, releasing, and it works! Thank you Dr. Eric.

Dear Dr. Eric,

When I first considered visiting your clinic, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical. I injured my back when I was nineteen, and had a bad experience with a chiropractor as a result. When I finally mustered up the courage to see you, I was impressed.

The atmosphere of Intuitive Soul Chiropractic was welcoming and calming. After the initial consultation (and despite the numerous pages of forms I had to fill out), my hope in chiropractors was restored!

There is one instance in particular that stands out from all my visits thus far. I came in to have you inspect my spine after a grueling weekend of snowboarding, and you noticed I was fighting a head cold. After a couple of questions, you proceeded with a few taps on my sinus cavity. In a sudden moment, after enduring extreme sinus pressure for over a week, my head was completely clear and I could breathe perfectly! I will never forget the instant feel of relief. I even caught you off guard by calling out, “Whoa! Cool!”

Dr. Eric, your style of chiropractic is beyond what I imagined, and it continues to be one of the few places I truly feel relaxed. Never have I felt more realigned and functional!

First, and foremost, I have to admit that I visited Dr. Eric's office with somewhat of a closed mind. Being an acupuncturist myself, I have mostly dealt with people who have not been helped by chiropractors, and I regret to say I was somewhat skeptical. However, I believe everyone deserves a chance to show what they can do.

Upon entering his office, I immediately knew this was going to be a good experience. It was a very open and spacious environment, and I was immediately put at ease. Dr. Eric proceeded to examine me and I was amazed at how perceptive he was in his diagnosing what areas of my body were problematic. However, it was his treatment that I was most impressed by. There were no violent manipulations or sudden jolts administered to my body. Rather, a series of soft subtle adjustments, often on the muscles and tissues, which slowly began to make my whole body vibrate with energy.

The treatment lasted for over an hour, and by the end I felt huge changes in the body had taken place, again, with no violent manipulations. Over the course of the week, the effect has not only lasted, but has continued to get better. I am walking straighter and feeling better.

I believe Dr. Eric not only has the ability to correct the spine, but more importantly, the ability to correct the energetic patterns which cause the spine to be misaligned in the first place. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Dr. Eric Tan is truly a miracle healer. Last year I was involved in a car accident that left me with some shoulder and neck discomfort that resulted in many restless nights with little sleep. After my accident I went to see a physiotherapist and as much as I’d like to say it helped, it did not. A few months had passed since I saw the physiotherapist and my neck was still not well and became even stiffer over time. The day I met Dr. Eric, I spoke with him about my problems and heard what he had to say. I eventually booked my appointment to see him and a few weeks later I noticed a huge difference in the way I felt. I felt more relaxed, much more comfortable, and my sleep became much better.
Thanks to Dr. Eric, I am now back to my old self, and even better. He not only helped me to deal with my injuries, he also helped me to relax by teaching me new techniques and I can now say that I have a better overall lifestyle thanks to him. A friend of mine who went to see another BGI chiropractor recommended Eric. I was not sure what to expect and as with anything new I try I bring a 'healthy skepticism' and curiosity with me. Because of my past I am not overkeen on physical touch or pain! So I was happy that the treatment was not too invasive and that Eric was mindful of my sensitivity. In fact, he is very sensitive to my needs in general. He usually changes the background music to my preference without even asking. Eric is kind,friendly, helpful and humorous; and has a good 'bed side' manner. His workspace is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Whenever I have attended Eric's practice because of pain or injury, Eric's treatment has always helped me heal. I also know it is a great place for me to relax. It is not simply a chiropractic experience for me, it also helps me move through the healing of past wounds. Eric also recognised, and helped unblock, the Kundalini energy that had arisen within me. I have had back problems for most of my life, a youth mistake, lifting things too heavy for me, as a chef trying to prove myself. For almost 20 years, neurologists keep telling me that I should get an operation, as I have a herniated disk in the lumbar part of my back. I refused, trying to keep my head above the water, meaning a few times a year, I cannot walk or sleep at all, because my back goes off, creating major pain and making me unable to walk straight or bend at all. My energy is often low and I am often cranky because of that condition. Since I have been seeing Dr. Eric Tan I have to say that for the first time in my life, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can get a balance on my energy level because Dr. Eric releases the energy that gets my chi flowing and I feel more equipped to heal myself better. He uses techniques that make my back stronger. My muscles in my legs, my arms and my neck are much stronger and I can feel the healing working its way in. Dr. Eric used not only chiropractor's techniques, but also combines it with holistic philosophy of body & soul, that not only the body structure changes, but also your spirit. I always knew that you could not disassociate the body from the soul. He clearly understands that concept. In my opinion he is an authentic healer.
