Your First Chiropractic Assessment and Adjustment
What to Expect

Your first reservation at Intuitive Soul Chiropractic will be an opportunity for us to learn about you and your vital information, as well as an opportunity for you to interview us about your concerns and wishes. We believe it is important for the potential patron to have the time to interview the chiropractor. We view this first interaction as a time in which both you and the chiropractor will become acquainted. This will ensure that the expectations of both the chiropractor and the potential practice member are congruent.
Check our clinic hours to book a reservation for your first adjustment now! Remember to give yourself at least 2 hours of allowance time. The consultation normally takes at least 30 minutes while the adjustment may take between 45-60 minutes depending on the individual.
Complete Paperwork
On your first visit we will ask you to fill out some brief paperwork concerning your medical history, which gives us important information about yourself and your past medical conditions. This will help us in the examination and any required treatment.

*Forms must be completed and signed in order for Eric to proceed to chiropractic care on you.
To help speed up the interviewing process, we recommend new members to print out and answer them at the comfort of their home. Then, bring in them on the day of your appointment.
If you prefer to fill out the forms at the office. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the actual scheduled appointment.
Introduction
Once your paperwork has been completed, you will have a private meeting with Eric to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. He will answer any question you might have.
The introduction is primarily to better understand your current health conditions and to educate you on the myths and facts about chiropractic treatment. You will also be taken on a 10 minute office tour and given an explanation about the open room adjusting concept.
History & Examination
In order to diagnose your circumstance, Eric will ask you a series of questions related to chiropractic conditions and will conduct specialized exams to determine the severity of your condition. A chiropractic exam will also consist of Orthopedic and Neurological tests and an evaluation of your Posture.
X-Ray Studies
We do not offer x-ray services and do not require our patrons to have x-ray done on their spine. However, if you already have the most recent x-ray studies done before, you can bring them in so that Eric can review them for purpose of pinpointing diagnosis and designing chiropractic care plan for you.
Your First Adjustment
Following the examination and the interview, you will receive your same day adjustment. The treatment normally consists of an alignment of the backbone and soft tissue work. This combination helps to reduce the built-up stress and tension of the body leading to better discomfort relief.
